The second Artist in our ‘Canvas’ art programme, Jennifer Louise Martin, has just revealed the first completed work – a customised Overall, combining paint, knit and embroidery. It’s a beauty.
We will ultimately be selling 10 Overalls when the ‘Layers’ show starts on August 2.
First come first served.
This weekend – May 11 thru 13 – is #CarnabyStyleWeekender. I am speaking at a Carnaby Street panel on Friday 11th at 6pm about what it takes to start a fashion business.
But much more importantly we are collaborating with two very cool artists in-store and launching some limited Summer Tees.
Saturday, we launch our collaboration with Mr Lee, who has designed two limited edition tees – a long-sleeved white tee ‘We Worked Hard’ with arm, breast & back print & a short-sleeved white tee ‘Opera’ with breast & back print.
Mr Lee will be in-store at 14a Newburgh Street customising an Overall with his unique masks.
Sunday, we launch our collaboration with fresh illustrator Rilla*127, who has designed a limited edition white tee, featuring an unorthodox figure as a back print.
Again, Rilla*127 will be in-store customising a denim work jacket with his illustrations.
Come down and say hello. Because it feels like Summer and we love tees.
Great to read Menswear Style celebrating the many reasons to visit the Newburgh Quarter, off Carnaby Street, Soho… One of them being our store. So come down and have a wander. And huge thanks to Bec Loades for spending the time chatting to us.
We spent Tuesday shooting lots of new styles, looks and layering on the streets of Soho with the lenses of Jesse Crankson and our Newburgh Street flagship team Ellie, Lewis & Gina. Chills – yes it was very, very cold. Excited to start wading through the selects and piecing together a fresh set of imagery for AW18. Meantime, #reflective for SS18 will light our way.
Come down to see our SS18 and AW18 collections at 14a Newburgh Street, Soho, London. For appointments, email Bryan York (email@example.com).
Huge thanks to Tom Bottomley for taking the time to talk to us and writing this profile in this piece in Menswear Buyer.
It’s a wet start to the New Year. No matter how many times you mop the floor it looks like an entrance in Pilton. But London is pretty quiet. So it’s time to rethink our flagship store space ahead of the SS18 drop. That was yesterday. Now attention turns to our showroom and office space.
Come down to our store, hang in our window seat and learn a little more about who we are, what we make, where we’re headed – not least we can show you our SS18 and AW18 gems ahead.
We’ll stick a record on. And maybe some coffee.
(Photos taken badly on an i-phone. But you get the drift.)
