Brilliant to see The Evening Standard review Mare Street Market tonight and mention our supply of staff uniforms. If you’re in the Hackney area, this is a ‘visitor attraction’ like no other – and pop into our pop-up while you’re at it.
Really chuffed to be featured in GQ May issue representing Carnaby Street for the GQ Style Weekender, May 8th thru 13th. We will be shortly announcing some special things for in-store that weekend.
This Monday, March 26th, we are enormously proud to launch a new pop-up store at Mare Street Market in Hackney, London.
Mare Street Market is a massively exciting new spot just off London Fields. A huge space containing a restaurant, bar, deli, coffee roastery, record shop, florist and antiques dealer. Plus an exciting new fashion brand like ours.
Opening 8am till late, it’s one of London’s most talked about new places.
Huge congratulations to the team behind the Market – Marc, Phillip & Gizzi – plus our new friends at Stranger Than Paradise Records, Rebel Rebel, Flying Horse Coffee & Pure White Lines.
If you come over to the Market, you might also note what the staff are wearing and the rather cool aprons we made especially for the launch.
Yes… We Worked Hard.
We are rather excited to announce that we are launching a pop up store nestling under some palm trees in East London. It opens next Monday 26th March. Exact details of its location and store opening times to follow shortly…
Great to read Menswear Style celebrating the many reasons to visit the Newburgh Quarter, off Carnaby Street, Soho… One of them being our store. So come down and have a wander. And huge thanks to Bec Loades for spending the time chatting to us.
Yesterday we started a unique collaboration between BIF, M.C.Overalls and 2nd year students of University of Westminster’s Fashion Marketing & Promotion BA Hons: 0-1.
Alongside BIF head honcho Matt Hart, we kicked off a learning programme which explored the mindset to get from 0 to 1 in the workplace – combining some neuroscience with practical insight into how to harness your creativity in an enterprise economy: learning by doing, finding inspiration and long, hard yards. A far cry from the traditional weight of worrying about a ‘career’…
We have invited the students to a series of workshops at our store, in which other brand owners and fashion leads get to tell their 0-1 story.
Finally, we set the students a real brief about our business. In due course, they will get to execute it with us.
It is after all #ApprenticeshipWeek.
Huge thanks to course lead Caline Anouti for welcoming us.
Finally our SS18 collection lands – available now in-store, online next week and with our stockists very shortly. It’s pretty exciting if we’re honest (even if I forgot to tell me face to smile in the photo).
Beautiful shot of our dusky pink overall by Lucy Reber in today’s Stylist Magazine.
We had a huge amount of fun shooting the AW18 lookbook on the streets of Soho with Jesse Crankson behind the camera and our team Lewis, Ellie & Gina modelling the looks. The output is finally pushed out this week. Meantime, the samples are available to see at our Newburgh Street flagship store. Come down and have a sneak peek. We want your feedback.
We spent Tuesday shooting lots of new styles, looks and layering on the streets of Soho with the lenses of Jesse Crankson and our Newburgh Street flagship team Ellie, Lewis & Gina. Chills – yes it was very, very cold. Excited to start wading through the selects and piecing together a fresh set of imagery for AW18. Meantime, #reflective for SS18 will light our way.
